The Return of Light: Finding Your Inspiration Again 🌹
Winter Healing Series | Episode Notes
Recap of Episode Six 📝✨↩️
Core Symbolism:
Days begin to grow longer and the rose senses subtle warmth.
When you’re working the 9-to-5, showing up day after day, while your mind is clouded by constant thoughts of bills, debt, and responsibility, it becomes incredibly difficult to stay in a creative space. The day is often filled with mini obstacles that pull at your focus, interrupt your peace, and leave you feeling depleted before you even realize it.
So often, our creative energy, along with so much of ourselves, is improperly balanced into our careers, our families, our relationships, and our friendships. In the process, we neglect ourselves, especially in the winter seasons of life. And trust me, I get it. It’s cold. It’s uncomfortable. And after the day has already beaten you down, regardless of what you accomplished, it can feel like nothing you did was enough. But I want you to know: what you create still matters. What you tend to from a creative standpoint matters in every way.
Think of creativity as a black void, waiting to be illuminated, not just with light, but with magnificent color. Just like a garden, if you don’t tend your flowers, they will eventually wither and die. Now apply that truth to your own life.
We are living in deeply uncomfortable times. And the question isn’t whether the weight of the world exists…it does. The real question is: are you allowing that weight to consume you? Are you tending to your garden… or slowly withering away? I know that’s a self-exposing question. But how can we ever reach our higher selves, our full potential, if we remain in darkness, refusing to acknowledge the return of light?
Just like a countdown, time is ticking. And it’s time for us, as a collective, to find our inspiration again. To reconnect with our light, our focus, and our creative sense of self. When you create for you, the possibilities become endless. You stop centering performance and optics, and instead become grounded in the present moment.
So I ask you gently: what is presently holding you back from blooming?
In this episode, we explore how creativity, community, and conscious awareness become sources of light during uncertain times. Through current events, cultural conversations, and lived experiences affecting communities of color, we reflect on how division, economic strain, and systemic failures don’t have to extinguish our spirit — they can refine it. This is an invitation to return to inspiration, reclaim our power, and choose collective healing even in the midst of darkness.
As the warmth slowly begins to return in this winter season, take time to reflect on the things you’ve done to serve yourself and help yourself grow. The noise will always be there, trying to knock you out of alignment. But you’ve come too far to go back. It’s time to return…to yourself.
Today’s Lesson:
Light returns slowly, just like creativity and hope.

Reflection
Putting your trust in something unseen is difficult—I understand that deeply. In times filled with negativity, hatred, and jealousy, it can feel hard to stay soft, faithful, or even empathetic toward others. Yet the Bible continually reminds us that those who walked closely with GOD also faced immense trials. Ruth, a woman who chose faithfulness in the midst of loss, stepped into the unknown with quiet courage, leaving familiarity behind and trusting GOD without guarantees. Job, a faithful servant, endured immense loss, grief, and suffering, yet remained anchored in trust even when everything familiar was taken from him. Their stories remind us that hardship is not proof of abandonment.
Salvation is more than rescue—it is preservation, protection, and divine covering in the midst of life’s storms. The most important thing you can do in difficult times is remember that you are not forsaken. Fear and a lack of faith can amplify your focus on darkness, creating a pull that tempts you to forget how far you’ve come—the trials you survived, the lessons you’ve learned, and even the people you’ve lost who want nothing more than to see you win. When you begin returning to the light, remembering the true core of who you are, GOD’s salvation, grace, and abundance for your life become undeniable and invaluable. Keep the faith. 🤍
Affirmation: I welcome the light returning to me, little by little. ✨
And Always Remember: When life gives you thorns, search for roses. 🌹
