Preparing To Bloom: Becoming The New You 🌹
Winter Healing Series | Episode Notes
Recap of Episode Seven 📝✨↩️
Core Symbolism:
The rose prepares its buds, getting ready for the coming season.
We made it to the last episode of this winter healing series, and I must say that this journey has healed me in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I truly hope that it has done something beautiful for your spirit as well. Which brings us to the conclusion of our final episode, episode seven.
The theme of this episode centers on intention and identifying not only your purpose, but also your plan for being and existing. We’ve talked about goal setting and hardships throughout this series, but that does not negate the importance of thinking about the future in a positive and productive way. A wise man once shared with me, “proper preparation prevents poor performance.” At the same time, I also know that the ancestors imprinted on me that The Most High laughs at our plans, irrespective of what we might set out to do on our own. Just like any team, GOD is on your council, and it is more than okay to consult and strategize what it is that you need to do or say in order to attain what will help you reach your higher self.
In this episode, we discuss intention, consistency, and how to manage becoming the new you…even in the midst of boredom. The spring season is almost here, and I emphasize the importance and purpose of innerstanding cultures outside of your own. Specifically, I enjoy the Chinese New Year and what each animal symbolizes. As we enter the year of the Horse, it is imperative to embark on new journeys and lean into change, because we are constantly adapting—most are simply unaware. In this new season, we are choosing to be open, clear, honest, and humble, knowing that life will always present its challenges.
We’ve grown closer together in recognizing that while life will always bring obstacles, it is truly up to us to face them head-on and not succumb to distraction. Distractions will always exist, and as the saying goes, misery loves company. We must be mindful of how polarity exposes the interconnectedness of positive and negative frequencies in life, but it is ultimately up to us to balance both sides with intention and grace.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every interaction and every supportive person who read or watched my creative process while I put this series together. I want to thank myself for showing up and completing something that I set out to do. Most importantly, I want to give thanks to The Most High for comforting me in my discomfort, allowing me to be vulnerable and show up as my most authentic self.
There is more to come, but for now, winter has come and is almost gone. With spring approaching, we need to strap on our seatbelts and enjoy the ride.
Until next time, Rosebuds. 🌹
Today’s Lesson:
You don’t have to bloom today. Preparation is part of becoming.

Scripture for This Episode 🌸📖✝️
“He who began a good work in you, will carry it on to completion.”
— Philippians 1:6 NIV
Reflection
This scripture is a gentle reminder that what GOD starts within us is not random or unfinished by design. It speaks to the importance of finishing what we start, even when the process feels slow, inconvenient, or stretched by life’s delays. Delay is not denial…it is often refinement. It is the space where patience, discipline, and faith are developed so that when the work is complete, we are prepared to sustain it.
Some opportunities arrive not to scare us or overwhelm us, but to lovingly nudge us forward. They challenge us to see just how creative, capable, and multifaceted we truly are. Growth rarely happens in comfort; it unfolds when we accept the invitation to move, try, and finish, even when we are unsure of the outcome.
As someone who once quit often, I have learned through time that it is okay to take breaks, to rest, and to recalibrate. But do not give up, especially on the things that are deeply important to you. Rest restores, but quitting abandons the very work GOD entrusted to your hands. There is a sacred responsibility in completion. When we refuse to finish what we were called to begin, we risk neglecting the very talents and gifts placed inside us for a purpose.
So continue the work. Pace yourself if you must, but remain committed. The same GOD who began the good work within you is faithful to help you see it through…one step, one season, one act of obedience at a time. 🤍
Affirmation: I am becoming who I am meant to be. ✨
And Always Remember: When life gives you thorns, search for roses. 🌹
